Since 2009, Anja has regularly taught one-on-one singing lessons, and held seminars and workshops for choirs and ensembles of all ages across Norway. With her inclusive and playful approach, combined with strong expertise in rhythm, she has taught both small and large ensembles in improvisation, rhythm, intonation, homogeneity, various vocal group techniques, stage presence, embodiment, and breath and vocal techniques.

For several years, Anja has been affiliated with the Norwegian Academy of Music, where she has taught jazz vocal students and the jazz vocal ensemble.

Together with Benedikte Kruse, she was the artistic leader of Ung i Kors's new initiative, Rytmisk Ungdomskor, from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, she has frequently served as an instructor at Korsommerskolen/Sommersanguka, Korweekend and Aspirantkortreff organized by Ung i Kor Oslo. Anja was also the instructor for Østnorsk Jazz Center’s vocal initiative Ung Vokal from 2019 to 2020. From the fall of 2022, she was the musical leader for Oslo Hit Ensemble leading up to their anniversary concert in June 2023. Today, Anja is the conductor of the mixed choir Det andre koret and the children´s choir at Høyenhall Elementary School, in addition to teaching acting students at Nordic Black Express in Oslo.

Throughout the years, Anja has composed music and lyrics and arranged music for both choirs and bands. She has developed a wide range of techniques for songwriting and arranging, and this is an area where Anja also offers guidance and instruction.
